History - Buffalo Powder Coating emerged in 1989 filling a much needed role in the finishing services available to the Western New York marketplace. It was spearheaded by James J. Cummings (Pres. & owner). Bringing over thirty years of powder coating experience to the table and plant floor, Jim was able to lay the foundation for a powder-coating job-shop that would grow rapidly over the next few years.
Buffalo Powder Coating now provides finishing services for many of the major manufacturers in the Buffalo area and has earned the respect of the coatings industry as a whole. In 1996, the company relocated to its new facility and completely overhauled and streamlined the operation. The plant is now engineered in such a way as to accommodate voluminous work in a very timely manor. This productivity improvement has allowed Buffalo Powder Coating to expand even further out with customers now from Pennsylvania and as far east as Boston.
